And 12'7" Donn was there; he supported me, encouraged me and, I like to think, befriended me.

I have several momentos of Donn - a copy of his poem "Roads Taken" has adorned me walls since his living days. He inspires me in death as he did in life - if I can touch so many people in life as he did, then I will achieve his immortality in death.

Damn, but you were a good person.

RasloAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8605839.post-12751858864928736382007-04-07T15:38:00.000-05:002007-04-07T15:38:00.000-05:00Becca,Donn was a wonderful man to know. Even though we only shared the same poetry scene for a couple of years before Kate and I left LA for Chicago, he made such a great impact that I feel that in some ways I have always known him.
My condolences on your loss, he indeed was taken too early. Thank you for leaving a comment and letting me know you found my post.Community of the Holy Trinityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15327079170088324442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8605839.post-44118289196451846932007-04-07T13:02:00.000-05:002007-04-07T13:02:00.000-05:00Hi. It seems each day i find one more person who knew my father. He was a great man, struck down by cancer. I still don't think its fair. He was taken from us way too early..Becca Watsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14010857020909701508noreply@blogger.com
