The 70% General English comes from both that I have lived 23 of my36 years in California and that my mom is a school teacher. I have no idea why I scored 15% Yankee. The 10% midwestern is that my dad is from Chicago, and probably that my mom's family are swedish-americans. 5% Dixie my southern wife is slowly but surely influencing my speech, which is a good thing. 7 years ago I would have scored 0% there.
